On the first day of Christmas, my true love sent to me...a tailor's clapper under the tree! This December we are celebrating our love of sewing with 12 Days of Giveaways! Follow along from December 1-12 for free giveaways each day on Instagram.
Every day we will announce the winner from the previous day and then launch into a new giveaway. Sounds way better than getting calling birds and laying geese, right?
But while on the subject, were birds a really great gift back when this song was written? I wouldn't mind a few French hens. Fresh eggs every morning sound lovely, but two turtle doves? Aren't doves basically country pigeons? I live in Chicago and have enough pigeons hanging about so that's a big NO THANKS doves. But I digress...
