Here at Suzy Quilts HQ, we had a ball working through The Cutting Table (TCT)’s second block of the month (BOM) this year. If you are a TCT subscriber, we hope you did, too! These blocks were designed to work as a group so the finished sampler quilt looks like a cohesive design, and this year, they were all tied together through a fun botanical theme.
But we didn’t stop there! Like with our first BOM, we included bonus tutorials so you can do more with each quilt block. Over the course of 12 months, we shared 12 blocks and 12 bonus tutorials, including
- 3 quilts
- 2 pillows
- 1 table runner
- 1 casserole carrier
- 1 set of mini oven mitts
- 1 yoga mat bag
- 1 scarf
- 1 appliqué tutorial, AND
- 1 set of placemats!
This month in Issue 36, we wrapped it all up with the twelfth and final block and instructions for turning all the blocks into a 70" x 71" throw (including two bonus block rows)! We can’t wait to see what our TCT subscribers have done with these blocks, and since these tutorials will live in the archive of past issues, it’s never too late for subscribers new and old to jump in.
In this final wrap up, we’ve linked to all the blocks and bonus tutorials below for easy reference. Let us know which one is your favorite in the comments. Happy making!
