It has happened to us all. You’re at a guild meeting or sewing group and you see that person you really enjoyed talking to last time…but what was their name? Suffer no more! Our scrappy quilt guild name tag is going to save the day and look great doing it.
Diana Li Fitzgerald
Diana Li Fitzgerald grew up in a family of creatives, continuing the traditions of her seamstress grandmother and sewist/fiber artist/sculptor mother. Her former career in science fed her analytical tendencies, and once she found sewing, she realized it was a perfect unity of experimentation and creativity, complementing her technical side. She currently designs sewing patterns, teaches and tinkers with different sewing and hand-stitching techniques full-time. Her patterns, workshops and lectures have been featured on the national stage, in-person and also offered online. She loves discovering new ideas and finding creative solutions to problems, and sewing, thankfully, has no end of either. Her book “Patchwork Sashiko: Transform Your scraps” from C&T Publishing releases December 30, 2025. Find her on social media @banjoflannel and at www.banjoflannel.com.
