You did it! You made it to the end of the Mod Mountains sew along. Eight whole weeks of cutting, sewing and pressing triangles and now in just a few more days you will have a finished quilt top. Give yourself a round of applause!!
The trees are green, the birds are singing and I’m almost positive that it’s not going to snow again here in Chicago—it’s finally summer! Do you know what that means? Time to bring out the bamboo batting!
Now that's it's warm outside people may expect me to pack up my sewing machine, emerge from my sewing cave and take up an outdoor hobby.
Mod Mountaineers, our blocks are sewn. Our mountains have been climbed! All that's left to do is enjoy the view from the top and begin our decent. This is when you get to lay everything out, step back and give yourself a rewarding pat on the back.
Friends, I’m a bag person. And a purse person. I mean, who isn’t. How could we ever live through life without a fantastic purse? Carry things in our hands? We only have two of those! And they’re so small! No. Purses and bags.

The Triangle Jitters quilt pattern is one of the most popular patterns in the SQ library. Using just the simple half square triangle, it creates a dynamic, modern design while still remaining beginner-friendly.
