Dear Diary,
Remember when our house was just a house? You were there. Cupboards stayed shut, and food stayed on the shelves, and power outlets were helpful dispensers of electricity for my lovely, intact floor lamps? It was great, wasn’t it?

I'm so excited to bring you this free quilted tote bag tutorial because I'll be the first to admit that I'm a bag lady. Big bags, little bags, bags inside other bags, you name it, there's just something so exhilarating about having the perfect bag for every outfit and occasion.
Before you read any more of this post, or scroll through these pictures of Desi's first birthday party, you should know that there is nothing Pinterest-perfect about my planning. Honestly, I'm just impressed that we pulled something together at all!

Ok, SQ readers. It’s happening again. I’m re-opening my diary and letting you take a peek. If you missed my confession about Baking Shows and need to take a minute to empathize with my obsession, go ahead. I’ll wait. But when you come back, get ready to dive with me real deep… into my shoe closet.
