Heeeey Sunshine Crew and welcome back to a two week mashup for the Shine quilt sew along. Since we will continue to sew our crazy little improv blocks for this week and the next, I figured you didn't need four separate blog posts on making the same thing.
Exciting news, Sunshine Crew – in Week 4 of our Shine quilt sew along we're still sewing blocks! That may not sound exciting, since we started sewing blocks last week, but it is actually quite thrilling because each time you make a Shine block the result is new and totally unique!
Welcome to a BIG week for us in the Shine quilt sew along! After two weeks of leisurely picking fabric, now we finally jump into cutting and sewing blocks. But don't be alarmed at the uptick in our pace, my lovely Sunshine Crew!

I'm so excited to continue our four-part quilting series.
It's time to Shine! Starting September 23, 2020 we will launch the final sew along of the year featuring the Shine quilt pattern. Shine is the third design in a series of four quilts that represent the four seasons in a year.
Thrivers, you made it! You are so close to victory you can probably smell it, and it smells like spray starch and sewing machine oil. Yummm! This week we wrap up our six-week sew along making the Thrive quilt pattern.
My lovlies, we have arrived at everyone's favorite part (well, most everyone's favorite part) of the quilt-making process...the sewing! Can you believe it took us two weeks to start sewing during a sew along?
The wait is over and it's time to rev up those sewing machine engines.
