The Fairgrounds quilt pattern is now available! Hello from the North Pole! Or more accurately, West Michigan, the land of eternal snow and sub-zero temperatures — where I’ve been cozying up in the sewing room and getting ready to release my newest quilt pattern, Fairgrounds.
Some might say this is the best kind of weather for sewing, but those people don't have three young kids. Do you know how long it takes to put snow gear on three kids under seven? Do you know how long those three kids actually stay outside before stomping back in, shedding their dripping wet gear, and then requesting hot chocolate? My days are full.
But back to my exciting news — I have a NEW quilt pattern for you, and it’s joyful and fun, and I just know you’re going to love making it. It’s called Fairgrounds, and even though it’s happy like a fair, it’s inspired by a coffee shop — Fairgrounds coffee shop, to be exact.
Chicago was my home for over 15 years, and where I had all three of my babies! Our local coffee shop, Fairgrounds, fueled my husband and me through sleepless nights, postpartum chaos, and every kind of weather—always with a smile. I’ve always loved their food, matcha lattes, and cute decor, so they get a quilt. Hooray!
A kit for the quilt seen below can be purchased HERE in our shop for a limited time.

Fairgrounds Solid Color Inspiration Mockups
Sometimes you just want to see how a quilt will look in as many different colors as possible. That's why we always create color mockups at the end of each quilt pattern! Each mockup below is meant as inspiration and does not correspond to a particular fabric line, and you can see both limited- and multi-color versions of Fairgrounds.
For the following mockups, our best recommendation is to match the colors to your favorite solid fabric line. You can also show a picture of your favorite mockup to your local quilt shop and ask them to help you assemble a kit!
