The New Horizons quilt pattern is now available! The pattern includes fabric requirements and instructions to make a multi-color version and a limited-color version, as seen here.
The limited-color version is made with just one identical block set on point, so even though you will be cutting and sewing some side-setting triangles, this quilt pattern truly is beginner friendly.
To cut and sew the side-setting triangles, we use the same technique as in the Thrive quilt pattern. You can see details of that in this blog post from the Thrive sew along.

My friend Caitlyn made this limited-color version using Charley Harper fabric from Fabricworm. A fabric kit to make this quilt will be available at fabricworm.com on June 11 when the pattern is available.

Not only is Caitlyn an amazing sewist, she's also a baby whisperer. Look at sweet Joanna sound asleep in her arms. 🙂
