A Jelly Roll Friendly Quilt Pattern
Adventureland is a modern quilt pattern that can be made with a jelly roll. It was designed and written for beginner quilters or those looking for a speedy project. With just one jelly roll and a yard of background fabric, you can make the throw quilt!
In addition to this quilt being perfect for a precut strip bundle, the pattern also includes instructions for using yardage and even scraps of strip fabric.
A Scrap Friendly Quilt Pattern
If you would like to make a scrappy quilt, as you sew different projects, just cut 2.5" strips from your leftover fabric. Most quilt patterns allot for at least a few inches of excess yardage so you don't run out of fabric. Instead of pitching the excess into your waste bin or compost pile, cut a 2.5" strip off and set it aside. Once you have 28 (baby size) or 40 (throw size) strips, it's time to make an Adventureland quilt!
