Ann –
I have made sawtooth stars in the past and always have trouble with the points on the stars. I never have enough fabric to attach to next pattern and cut the tip of the star point, will the directions in this pattern teach me how to avoid this?
Suzy Quilts –
These are made with Flying Geese blocks – which should give you 1/4″ seam allowances at the top of each star tip. So the tip doesn’t get eaten up in the seam, be sure not to sew past the intersection of the two seams that create the star tip.
