If you're reading this post you've made it to the end of our Shining Star sew along. Someone turn on my backyard hose cause you're on fire!! Wahoo!! Just don't tell my kids or they'll come running. haha! We have had a nice slow summer with lots of puttering around in the backyard playing with the hose.

That means we're supporting these nonprofits through a financial donation and doing our best to get the word out about the great things they are doing.
It's happening! It's finally happening! In Week 5 of the Shining Star sew along we get to put all of the pieces together and see our finished quilt blocks. Yay! This week we assemble quilt blocks.

The Shining Star quilt pattern is now available! This is the second pattern in our 2022 quilt series—Companions. The first pattern this year, Adventureland, was a companion design to Sugar POP. Shining Star is a mashup of two favorite designs—Shine and Stars Hollow.
