Remember last week when I said it was the best week of the Starling sew along? Well I totally lied. THIS is hands down the best week. Why? Because Starling is the chef's kiss perfect quilt pattern to use when chain piecing a quilt together for speed, efficiency, and an all around good time!
It's the BEST week, folks! Well, I think so anything. In Week 5 of the Starling sew along we assemble our blocks. At this point we have all of the star parts and now we get to see them come together.
Hey Quiltketeers, and welcome to Week 4 of the Starling quilt sew along! Is it me or is this sew along flying by? Maybe I've just got aeronautics on the brain because my husband made me watch the new Top Gun movie with him last night and this week we're sewing flying geese!
Don't be a square — be a square IN a square! In Week 3 of the Starling sew along we encourage square-like behavior while sewing, pressing, and trimming these units. So lace up your tidy white sneakers, tuck in your shirt, and let's get to work!
Hey you! Are you ready to rock, roll, and cut? I sure am because I LOVE when cutting is simple and straight forward. In Week 2 of the Starling sew along we cut our fabric. And guess what! It's all squares!!
