Fat quarter fans rejoice! On September 14, the Star Crossed 2.0 quilt pattern is available now and, believe it or not, this pattern is fat quarter friendly. It's true! The illusion of woven fabric in the center of the quilt is what makes this pattern work with fat quarters. While there are long strips to form the design, none of them extend the entire way across the quilt.
Star Crossed 2.0 is the sister pattern to Star Crossed. While it uses slightly more advanced techniques, like a Y-seam, trust me when I say you'll be able to tackle a Y-seam with confidence after watching the video tutorial that comes with the pattern. If you want to make both quilts, you can even get a Star Crossed pattern bundle.
So grab a stack of fat quarters and get ready to see examples of nine Star Crossed 2.0 plus everybody's favorite...quilt kits!
There are two versions of Star Crossed 2.0. The multi-colored quilt uses 12 fat quarters and the limited-color uses yardage. So this pattern isn't just for fat quarters! You'll see examples of both versions in this post.

Vintage Scrappy Star Crossed 2.0 Quilt
The colorful charm of this vintage scrappy version of the Star Crossed 2.0 quilt pattern harkens back to the scrappy quilts of the 1930s, made with fabrics from feed and flour sacks to old garments. This quilt gives that a modern twist, with large-scale prints mixed with blenders, gingham mixed with solids, and an array of eye-catching colors.
Available as a kit from Thai Charm LLC, this was also quilted by Sandy of Thai Charm using the panto Devon by Sew Shabby Quilting.
