Welcome to the final two weeks of the Grow sew along! We made it!! In the next couple weeks we will assemble our blocks into a quilt top. This step in the quilt-making process is supposed to be loose and fun with lots of wiggle room for "mistakes."
Welcome to Weeks 3 and 4 of the Grow sew along! If you're thinking, "Suzy, are you slackin' on us and trying to get out of writing a blog post for each week?" The short answer is yes. BUT the longer and better answer is you don't need two posts!
We're back with Week 2 of the Grow quilt sew along! This week we let out our inner tiger and do lots of ripping and roaring. Are you ready to get wild??

Let's Grow together! Starting April 1, 2020 we will launch SQ's third sew along featuring the Grow quilt pattern. This modern medallion quilt is fun, surprisingly fast and, after sewing just a few strips together, will give you a wonderful jolt of instant gratification.
You did it! You made it to the end of the Mod Mountains sew along. Eight whole weeks of cutting, sewing and pressing triangles and now in just a few more days you will have a finished quilt top. Give yourself a round of applause!!
Mod Mountaineers, our blocks are sewn. Our mountains have been climbed! All that's left to do is enjoy the view from the top and begin our decent. This is when you get to lay everything out, step back and give yourself a rewarding pat on the back.
Heeeeey-oh! How are we doin', Mod Mountaineers? You still with me? The next two weeks get reeeeally exciting, so I want to make sure that your bags are packed and you're geared up for a sewing adventure!
